TECHNICAL ABILITY OFTEN has a decreasing role when taking on the harder challenges of angling.
A lifetime of trying to unravel the unique ecological niches and behaviour of individual species, as well as the complex and dynamic interactions between habitat and other species will provide one of the greatest journeys in angling and a life-long term satisfaction.
Whilst we can provide a relatively easy angling experience for beginners to hone their skills, many of the more experienced anglers are looking for proper science based understanding.
Watercraft is the assessment of fish habitat and a vitally important skill that separates dedicated anglers from the fair-weather pleasure seekers.
We offer guided walks and talks on River and Lake Habitat; Fish Farming; Flora and Fauna Identification; Aquatic Invertebrate Identification; and Aquatic Habitat Enhancement.
We are also interested in supporting volunteers who are willing to act as guardians and beacons for clubs and local river trusts.
